MIG Welder

Job Description

MIG Welder would be responsible for using MIG equipment to weld large pieces of steel and aluminum together per the customers specification. You must be able to set up the equipment and materials into proper position before welding. You will also inspect the final product for quality. Accurate is willing to train beginner welders with the right skill set.

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Fabricates components by using equipment to cut, form and fasten pieces.

  • Weld steel and aluminum according to blueprints/customers specifications.

  • Ensures to correct any safety issues before beginning welding operations.

  • Clamp, grind, tack-weld, or bolt components into position before welding.

  • Inspects all manufactured products for quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot issues with welding equipment.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the weld shop.

Skills/Qualifications
Six months to 1 year of MIG welding experience. TIG welding experience is a plus, ability to read blueprints/specifications. Attention to detail and quality control is key in this role
